Just recently returned from a visit with my Aunt Ruth Pack in Fries. Had Cousins from Michigan and nearby towns. An Uncle Dewey Luper from Galax. Took my daughter and her husband from Columbia SC. Had a grand 3 days. Hope to get back there soon.

Unlike mnay of you I do not live or have family that once lived in this beautiful town. This summer I recently went on a working service trip and helped out in the community. All I could say is wow... I left Fries, speechless from what I had just encountered. I met some of the nicest people in the world. I am completely blessed from the retreat and glad that I had the chance to go! While your down there please take the chance to visit the recreation center and meet Eva Jane. She is the biggest sweetheart you'll ever encounter in your life. Thank you for everything Fries, my school and I really apprecaited your hospitality.
