Great Site! I will always have a special place in my heart for Fries Va. I never thought I would say I miss that Old Cotton Mill but danged if I dont hahahaha " worked there" The people of Fries are so special !!!

I think we will come down Sunday to look for the nesting eagle and where I can fish! are there other birders in town? we could do lunch!!

Great site! I've visited Fries a couple of times - my husband's family came into this area from there and he has a great uncle (Mark Brown) buried there; I found him long ago on a cemetery list but have not been able to find his grave! Jim (my husband) is no longer living, but he was fascinated by the mill and the town of Fries when we visited there; I hope to bring some more of our family there this coming summer. Keep up the good work; I am involved in tourism in Tazewell County - work at our Visitor Center in Bluefield VA!
