Eagle Bottom Phase II - Second Public Hearing

Grayson County will hold a public hearing on March 27, 2019 at 5:00pm at Board Room of Grayson County Court House at 129 Davis Street, Independence, Virginia, 24348, to solicit public input on the proposed Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) applications to be submitted to the Virginia Department of Housing and Community Development for Eagle Bottom Phase II. Residents of the project area are encouraged to attend. 

The Eagle Bottom Phase II applications will include the following activities: Housing Rehabilitation, Housing Substantial and Demolition of Dilapidated Structures.

The draft CDBG applications will be presented for comment along with information on projected beneficiaries, including the number of low- and moderate-income residents to benefit from the proposed project, and plans to minimize displacement. Citizens will also be given the opportunity to comment on Grayson County's past use of CDBG funds.
