The 2023 event has been cancelled. The Fries Musical Heritage Festival celebrates noteworthy musicians from the Fries area such as Henry Whitter, Glen Neaves, Jessie Lovell and many others. Music starts at 11 a.m. and goes until 4 p.m.

The Whitetop Mountain Band plays at The Depot on May 26, 2023. Old-time Music and Dance at The Depot. Begins at 7 p.m. Admission is $5 per adult. Bring a lawn chair and your dancing shoes.

For the May event only - organizer has moved start time up to noon on Saturday due to the threat of rain. Thunder by the River Classic Car Cruise-in. 2 p.m. until dark. Free admission. Refreshments for sale.
