Located at 336 Firehouse Drive on the banks of the New River, the spacious park is open daily from dawn to dark. The park has a children’s playground, a covered stage with electricity, and beautiful views of the New River. Bring a blanket for snoozing in the shade, or lawn games to enjoy with family and friends. There’s ample flat space to set up cookout grills.

During the summer, several dates will be announced for Thunder By The River classic car rallies, which are free and open to the public. Refreshments are available, plus live music.

Riverside Park adjoins the New River Trail State Park parking area and a public boat landing.

The whole park or parts of it may be reserved for family or church reunions, weddings, birthday parties, festivals, or corporate events. See Rental and Usage Fees for a fee schedule
