An addition to downtown Fries is this spacious new covered market building. We completed seasons in 2022 and 2023 and look forward to an exciting 2024!

The Depot stands on W. Main Street where the old Norfolk & Western Railway passenger depot operated until 1955, when the line stopped passenger service into Fries. The new market structure echoes the historic design and placement, but has modern amenities, including public restrooms, a commercial sink setup, electrical outlets for market vendors, lighting for evening events, and lots of convenient parking.
