History walking tour of Fries conducted by a New River Trail State Park Ranger. See Virginia State Parks website for details. https://www.dcr.virginia.gov/state-parks/event?id=2024-02-16-19-15-02-380510-f3i Walk ends with jam session at The Historic Fries Theatre where you can enjoy local mountain music. The history tour is free. There is a parking charge at the access point.

The Thursday Night Jam, AKA The Jam at the Dam, is on for Thursday, October 3. Concessions are free. Come if you can safely make it to the theatre. Doors open by 5:30 p.m.
